It is not possible to answer this categorically, as an assessment of your condition will be determined by the Department of Immigration’s medical officers. However, it is reasonable to say that being overweight/etc does not necessarily mean you will fail the medical – we have seen plenty of people with similar concerns who are now living in Australia.
I am overweight / diabetic / recovering from a heart condition / have had depression etc. Does this mean I will fail the medical and can’t move to Australia?
